Sanctuary Choir sings for the traditional service at 10:30am on Sundays. They also participate with other choirs on special occasions, most notably participated in the annual presentation of Handel's "Messiah" at the Monumental Baptist Church on Chicago's south side. The Sanctuary Choir joins with a similar choir from neighboring Lutheran Church of the Ascension on two occasions during the year, Thanksgiving Day services at the Northfield Community Church and Good Friday services at the Lutheran Church. This is tradition that has a long history
