Minister of Visitation

Warren Wiggins

Minister of Visitation
Pastor Wiggins’ duties consist mainly of calling on and keeping in touch with Shut-ins.

Warren Wiggins has been serving congregations in the Chicago area for the past forty years. After sixteen years at Winnetka Congregational Church, he started a new congregation in Lake Zurich, pastored the St. Peter Community Church in the first decade of the twenty-first century and spiced that with interims in Bolingbrook, Arlington Heights, Wheaton, Hickory Hills and several others. He earned a doctorate from McCormick Seminary in 1979.

Indiana County, Pennsylvania, is home to over half of his fifty or so first cousins, the farm where he grew up, and his Marion Center High School. He met Carolyn at Muskingum College in Ohio, left Princeton Seminary with a daughter Beth, did his first pastorate in Seville, Ohio with two sons added, and moved to Illinois after pastoring a Presbyterian Church in Amherst, Ohio. Carolyn and Warren have seven grandchildren.
