Christian Education is a Lifelong Journey

...and we hope that when you join us for these opportunities at Northfield Community Church you find strength and encouragement from fellow travelers on that path.

NCC's Sunday Seminar is our forum for discussing world issues and events in light of our faith.  Last year seminar topics ranged from how to take the Bible "seriously, not literally" to overviews of the other faiths in our community to global warming and war crimes.  As we move into 2008, we'll pick up the Foreign Policy Association's Great Decisions series and consider topics covering the globe - with a particular eye toward how our faith affects our thoughts and actions on these topics.  Later in the spring, we'll turn to questions of faith and theology to consider where we stand and why.  Newcomers are welcome to join this group any time - check the church calendar for particulars.

Women's Bible Study meets every Tuesday morning at 10:00 for conversation that starts with Scripture and moves into the world.  In the past year, we've ranged from Revelation to meals with Jesus to the Psalms.   As we move into 2008, we'll study stories of Jesus at prayer and see how our prayer lives might be changed.

Our adult education also includes movie-viewing, a monthly prayer breakfast, and occasional classes for parents.  For more info on what we've been up to, click here to view the Adult Education Brochure
