Tim Lambert

Interim Director of Music


Conductor and tenor, Tim Lambert serves as the Interim Director of Music at NCC.  He conducts the Sanctuary Choir and the Handbell Choir as well as serving as a member of the worship planning team.


Conductor Tim Lambert is pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting at Northwestern University. An active choral musician, he has collaborated with a variety of award-winning ensembles, such as Conspirare, Roomful of Teeth, Lorelei Ensemble, and Bang on a Can All-Stars.


Currently, he sings with the Bienen Contemporary/Early Music Ensemble and serves as the graduate conductor of University Singers. He has sung roles including Monostatos in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Trio in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, Bobby in Sondheim’s Company and Billy in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. He has originated roles, such as Thomas Jefferson in the chamber opera, Ghosts of Monticello, and premiered the lead role in the chamber opera, A’Musing at the Spoleto Festival USA.


Prior to his work at Northwestern, he served as the Director of Choirs at Central York High School and Director of Music at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
